At the beginning, after you have decided to work with me, we will have a long session, called "discovery session", of about 2 hours, during which we will talk about the team we want to be and how we are going to work together. We will also spend a lot of time discovering what is essential to you, what kind of person you are. We will then review what your objectives are, how they fit into the big picture of who you are and the life you want; finally what you are committing to by engaging into this coaching process.
After that discovery session, we will meet every month on the phone; we also can meet face to face - and if so preferably outdoors – if it is geographically possible. The average contact time is 2 hours of coaching a month, and we can split it into 4 sessions of 30 mn, 3 sessions of 40 mn, or 2 sessions of 2 hours – or something else, whatever suits you better. I recommend that our coaching relationship should last at least three months from the discovery session.
Between sessions you will have something to think about or actions to take that you have agreed to. As part of your taking responsibility for this process we might decide that you will inform me when you have completed the task you agreed to. You can share your successes or doubts with me, preferably by email or text message. Know that I will be there supporting you also in this time in between sessions.
When you and/or I feel that you are ready to move on, we will agree on the date when we end this relationship, a couple of weeks in advance, to give us enough time to review the whole process beforehand.
Our completion session will be an opportunity to celebrate and to look back - on the learning, the choices, the challenges, the successes of the last few months. We will look at where you are at, and what is next for you.
